In December 2025, Kim Bunea received the devastating diagnosis of grade 4 Glioblastoma, a deadly and aggressive form of terminal brain cancer. Given only three months to live, Kim underwent brain surgery and 30 rounds of radiation.

Against the odds, 9 months later, Kim is still fighting off her cancer. The specialized treatment Kim needs isn't performed in the United States. Now, her only chance for treatment is to fly to Germany, where they'll make a vaccine from her tumor. She'll also need to continually travel to Germany once a month for 10-12 months as part of this treatment.

This procedure and treatment aren't covered by insurance and must be fully funded out of pocket by Kim alone.
